Katie Hartke

Katie grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, and went onto receive a Bachelor of Music from Catholic University in DC, and then studied at Circle in the Square Theatre School in NYC. Her most recent performance was the lead role of Cass Harris in David Lindsay-Abaire's deliciously twisted comedy WONDER OF THE WORLD at Theatre Row. This past fall, she played Miranda and Ariel in a tour of THE TEMPEST with the acclaimed Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. Other shows in her many seasons with HVSF are TWO GENTLEMENOF VERONA, THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR, MACBETH (tour), ALL’S WELL THAT ENDS WELL, ANTONY & CLEOPATRA and, this summer, Katie is playing Helena in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM,and Lydia Languish in THE RIVALS. Other favorite roles include Helena in MIDSUMMER at the Stratford Theatre, Cinderella in INTO THE WOODS, and Angel/Emily in ANGELS IN AMERICA. Katie has worked primarily in theatre, plus a few student films and one spec commercial, but is itching to get more involved in TV/Film.
