Gabra Zackman

Gabra's regional credits include: Metamorphoses at Hartford Stage and Missouri Rep (the regional tour of Mary Zimmerman's Tony Award winning production on Broadway) as well as a subsequent new production at Florida Studio Theatre; Helena in All's Well That Ends Well, Octavia in Antony and Cleopatra, Mistress Quickly in Henry V , and Emilia in Comedy of Errors for the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival; Titania in Midsummer Night's Dream with the Stratford Theatre, CT; and Kate in Taming of the Shrew with the Georgia Shakespeare Festival. Gabra is a graduate of Northwestern University and has earned her MFA from the Shakespeare Theatre's Academy for Classical Acting in DC where she worked on Richard III, Winter's Tale, and The Dutchess of Malfi.

New York Credits include: Mary in On the Verge (John Houseman Theatre, NY and Edinburgh, Scotland), Janice in Italian-American Reconciliation, Train Story by Adam Rapp and new plays at Julliard, Soho Rep, Lincoln Center Studio, The Harold Clurman Theatre, and Circle East (formerly the Circle Rep Lab). She has been part of readings and workshops at Manhattan Theatre Club, New York Theatre Workshop and EST.

Gabra currently reads books on tape with Talking Book Studios as well as Audible, Inc. She has been seen on TV in "Law and Order", and on Film in several graduate shorts. Gabra is looking forward to working on more film, and taking her skills and experience into a different medium.
